Section II introduces you to some of the basic concepts that will help you acquire a greater understanding of the nature of the eight components of fitness comprising the Positive Approach Fitness Potential Model: flexibility, cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, skill, body composition, energy, nutrition, and strategy. It includes instructions, regarding how each of these eight components of fitness compliment each other and are increased, decreased, or maintained in accordance with the fitness activities prevailing in the daily lives of every person.
Upon completion of this section, you should have a greater awareness of what fitness is and why it should not be viewed as something to be managed in a gymnasium or exercise facility.
