LE CLUB FRANCOPHONE

The French program at TSU offers various courses of language, literature, and culture. However, these academic endeavors need to be relayed by activities that provide informal exposure to and learning of a diversity of cultural products. LE CLUB FRANCOPHONE at TSU provides this necessary cultural environment to the university community. It initiates activities that improve people’s spoken French as well as expand their knowledge of Francophone cultures. It brings together the FRANCOPHILE and FRANCOPHONE populations at TSU to share their common interests in French and Francophone cultures.
LE CLUB FRANCOPHONE meets every Wednesday at 9:00 am to engage in cultural activities such as watching and discussing Francophone fiction and documentary movies, meeting with guest speakers, participating in informal conversations, and reading poetry and drama.
Anybody interested in learning about or sharing their knowledge of Francophone cultures is welcome in LE CLUB FRANCOPHONE. The Club meets in the Language Lab,  143 HUMANITIES BUILDING.
