As a professional duty, I make any of the yeast strains I have available to other researchers. Below is a list of species available from different locales and hosts. Requests should be accompanied by the information requested below and should be submitted via email. Since I receive no compensation for this service, I do not guarantee that the yeast sent will be the correct yeast. Yeasts are stored either under oil or are lyophilized soon after collection. The large number of strains collected, identified and stored ensures that mistakes will be made during the process (switched labels, etc.). When I revive a strain I do not assume that it is the correct strain and use confirmatory tests before accepting the strain designation as correct. So should anyone requesting a strain or strains. Also, since I have other duties, requests will be answered as soon a possible but I can make no pledge to honor a request within a specific time period.

Strains are sent in small vials as live yeast.
