    Received Minority Preparation grant funded by Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC), consecutive for three years from April, 2003 through June 30, 2005 for approximately $150,000 with original and TSU matching.

    Received Becoming A Special Educator in Tennessee (BASE-TN) Grant funded by Tennessee Department of Education for the total of $160,000 ($75,000+ $85,000) + TSU matching $40,000 = $200,000 for 2005, 2006.

    Co-PI with Office of Business and Research (OBER) at Tennessee State University of Richland Valley Community Service Project funded by Metro Social Service

    Received Summer Research and Scholarly activity grant to conduct research in the nature of technology training that special education teacher receive and how they implement in greater Nashville schools, and its surrounding area schools in Spring 2003 at Tennessee State University

    Received Summer Research and Scholarly activity grant to conduct research in understanding the use of technology in special education in greater Nashville and its surrounding areas in Spring 2002 at Tennessee State University
