HIST 5710: Seminar in African History

This is an intensive study of selected social, economic, and political issues of pre-colonial Africa.

HIST 5720: Seminar in African History II

This is an intensive study of major historical issues from the period of colonization through the emergence and organization of independent states.

HIST 6710: Modern Africa: Political and Social History

This is an investigation of Africa’s political, social, and economic development in the post-independence period.

HIST 5750: Vital Topics

This course deals with selected subject on a specific period—local, regional, national, or international.
