What: Create an ELA Plan for implementing Reading and Writing strategies for supporting K-6 students as they navigate, comprehend, and learn from and write about informational texts. |

Why: To create an ELA plan aligned with both TN Common Core ELA Standards as well as with Tennessee State Curriculum Standards for a particular content area to provoke student engagement and a deeper understanding of content as well as to teach student strategies to be independent readers, writers, and learners. |
